How the Major Energy Prepaid Card Program Works
Need a new electricity or natural gas plan? Great! Getting the Major Energy Rebate Program bonus is a perk of signing up online. New customers that start a new plan online will automatically be eligible to receive $25-$100 depending on the service you choose.
With this program you can get up to two rebates. You’ll be able to get the first rebate after just a month of service. Keep enjoying your fixed rate energy plan for six months and you can apply for a second rebate.
After signing up for service, new customers can follow these easy steps to claim the prepaid card rebate(s):
- Get the Prepaid Card Rebate Form. Request the rebate form
- Print and complete the form.
- Attach a copy of your first monthly bill from Major Energy and mail in the form to receive the first prepaid card. The form must be submitted within 90 days of the end of the first month of service. The card will be valued at $50 for an electricity plan and $25 for a natural gas plan.
- After a few more months you can submit a second Prepaid Card Rebate Form with a copy of your 6th monthly bill from Major Energy to qualify for a second prepaid card. The form must be submitted within 90 days of the end of the sixth month of service. The second card will be valued at $50 for an electricity plan and $25 for a natural gas plan.
You can get up to two prepaid cards, but there’s a limit of one prepaid card cycle totaling $100 per account.
Where to Mail in Your Rebate Form
You’ll need to mail your completed form and a copy of your utility bill to:

Now all you have to do is sit back and wait for your card to arrive. It will take 4-6 weeks to process the form and issue your prepaid card. The prepaid card will be mailed to the account holder’s address on record.
Prepaid Card Qualifications
To receive the prepaid cards, a customer must have an active account with Major Energy. The account needs to be in good standing and not pending cancellation when you submit the form. You must stay on a qualifying electricity or natural gas plan during the prepaid card processing to receive the card.
