Rebates

When you sign up for an eligible electricity or gas plan, you may redeem a rebate after an initial short period (first monthly bill) and another rebate amount after a longer period (6th or 18th monthly bill) with Major Energy. Reward intervals depend on the selected term. Please see the rebates page for rebate program details and terms.

To receive each rebate disbursement, print and complete the rebate form, attach a copy of your most recent monthly bill showing Major Energy as your electric or gas supplier, and mail both to the address on the rebate form. You must submit the rebate coupon(s) within 6 months of billing delivered during the reward months of your selected plan. You must have an active account with Major Energy in order to be eligible. Allow 4-6 weeks for processing. Prepaid cards will be mailed to the account holder of record. Municipal aggregation customers are not eligible for a rebate bonus.

Utility Services

No, your electricity or gas service will not be interrupted and will continue to be delivered by your utility company. 

Yes. Although you will see Major Energy listed on your bill as your electricity or gas supplier, your local utility company will continue to fully handle your account. Your local utility will continue to read your meter and make any necessary repairs. you will still call your utility company for all your servicing needs.

You should call your local utility company if your power goes out or you have any other service issues. For your reference, you can locate the toll-free number for your local utility company on your monthly bill.

If you move your home or business within the state or to another state serviced by Major Energy, we can continue to act as your supplier. Please contact us at 1-888-625-6760 and we will help you manage your account during the move.

Becoming a customer

Selecting Major Energy for the electric supply portion of your service is easy. You simply need to provide your address information and some basic customer information from your monthly utility bill. You will receive an email confirmation of your enrollment and your service will begin once your utility accepts your enrollment. Go to our (enrollment page).

There is no cost to select Major Energy as your supplier, and you can cancel your service on many plans with Major at any time with no cancellation fee. Selecting Major Energy is an easy, almost effortless way to switch to a long-term fixed electric rate and explore opportunities to utilize renewable energy.

Yes. You always have the right to choose another electrical or gas supplier in the future. We are committed to providing our customers with high-quality service and are confident that you will stay with us as a customer for the long-term. More about Major

Yes. All Major offers meet or exceed the renewable energy requirements of each state. Major purchases Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to offset 100% of our customers’ electric consumptions. RECs are created when electricity is generated by renewable energy sources such as solar, wind, hydro and biomass power.
